About

This is a narrative, travel blog, photo album of my life — picture albums of friends, family and personalities who have passed by. I am a descendant of a nomad nation — I got the travel bug at a very young age. “There are no foreign lands, it is the traveler who is foreign” is one of my favorite quotes. There is something mesmerizing about stepping on a land you never visited before – being foreign in a foreign country, meeting people and learning their culture and traditions.  First arriving in India comes to mind: No matter what journey I take, whether it’s backpacking somewhere in Africa or a lazy vacation on a Pacific isle, it never looks or feels the same. This is also the story of my 3 closest travel buddies (Hugh, Keith & Will) and all the tag-alongs and personalities we have encountered on our adventures. My travel buddies could have created this narrative but they have decided to use Facebook (which is just a passing fad) or other ways of recording their lives. We have tried the traditional blog method here –> my TravelBlog — but it doesn’t accommodate all those adventures with the characters (incl. family members) with whom we have crossed paths.
This is our narrative in pictures.
