I met Philip Kiarie through my pals Dan & Mary Vahalla. I asked everyone I could find that had been on an African safari who their safari guide was. Only Dan and Mary had kept in touch with their guide, Philip. Philip took me all around Kenya and during the course of long discussions discovered he wanted his family to move to America. We got our friends at the Liebl & Kirkwood immigration lawyers’ office to get him on the green-card lottery — and, he miraculously won. He now spends half time in the US driving truck and half time back in his village in Kenya.
